What are the benefits of lemon balm?

Lemon balm is an herb that can help support good health and smells great!   There are a variety of benefits that have been linked to lemon balm and here they are.

Health benefits of lemon balm include:

Calms your mind

A clinical trial was able to show that lemon balm can improve sleep for menopausal women.

The studies are preliminary but there is some evidence that in a clinical study lemon balm could improve memory function.

Examples of the antioxidants in lemon balm include eugenol and rosmarinic acid as well as ferulic acid, caffeic acid, and quercetin.

The liver is essential for detoxification.  Phytochemicals in lemon balm can promote healthy liver function including the activation of detoxification enzymes
